CAMFART – CAmuna Mole Fabbrica ARTogne – was founded in 1951 in Artogne, a small town situated in the historical production area of Valle Camonica. The company started the innovative production of grinding wheels, which have experienced interesting developments in the industrial area of Brescia later on. In the early years our firm was taking advantage of the water flow of the Opificeri canal to produce energy and crush the grinding stone for its productive cycle.

Over the years we changed the plant site to a larger one (covering an area of 9,000 sqm) and we have continuously upgraded our machineries through investment planning focused on innovation and R&D.

 Production quality and environmental care have always been a priority, in fact, we have been certified ISO 9001 since 1998 and ISO 14001 since 2003, recognizing the company’s environmental commitment and the oSa (Organization for the Safety of Abrasives) certification was obtained to testify the level of safety we ensure for our products.

 In 2007, a new revolutionary manufacturing process was initiated, yielding sintered products specifically designed for the application in spring production.
